Its nice that she took to her so quickly, Liz. It's alwyas troublesome when they attack family members.
Parj, she's smart as a whip. The second I tell anyone to step up or come here, she'll start chatting up a storm. Step up! Come on. Come here, step up! "
We were watching America'sgot talent the other day. There was a man whose act was extremely gross and while we were watching with horrified expressions suddenly, from her covered cage, we hear Clover laughing evilly. A few acts later, a little girl sang opera and we were all opeouthed and then clover started trying to aing along. Realized a light nesr her cage had been left on, and once I turned that off, she settled down.
I'm still afraid of her bites though. Can only handle letting the pair out for 30 min before I have to vacate because they start landing on me and testing to see how much hair they can pull out and whether they can get to my skin if they bite me through my clothes. Guess I'm going to spend summer working on he "No" command.
I've changed their diet and added Roudybush after all after reading through information and studies in a nutrition group the rescue lady recommended to me. One of the main reasons that stuck out to me is that the fruit that the birds eat in the wild are much more nutritious for them than the fruits we eat, which have been engineered to suit our tastes. Lemon and Clover took to it immediately, especially after I pretended to eat it, but Fajr is going to take longer.
