and now I have come to find that there is only the one that remains in London and is quite hard to reach. I have had to take Skippy to Guelph.

Oh, wouldn't she consider getting her mate? The little ones should always have a mate or, at the very least, a companion of their own species - they do so much better that way... No human can ever provide enough company for them and they never bond that deeply with a human so they feel the lack all their lives.

An update: The other two have been moved into the flight area as their area is under construction. Back into the smaller cage temporarily. They fly like there's no tomorrow. Clover has figured out that her weight will push aside the curtain, and so she escapes every other minute while Lemon calls for her from inside.

I think it's about time to start training Clover. Lemon still does his own thing, but Clover will come and perch and want to interact...except she does not want to be touched outside of kisses on her beak. She'll wreak havoc instead, chewing up papers and flying off with napkins and trying to steal food and chew hair.

It's so funny watching her edge towards a plate of food...she'll inch towards it and look around to see if anybody's watching...and continue to inch towards it. The food usually get picked up before she gets to it. Yesterday, she almost won. We came home with french fries and were all distracted when suddenly Clover flew off with her prize. Got it back from her immediately, of course.

The problem with trying to train Clover is that she is too smart. Once you try to have her come over without receiving the treat, she'll get mad and bite- hard. Then she'll stop listening and mock you by repeating the command

I reckon that Clover is telling you to play fair and don't change the rules.

Fajr hates Clover and will ignore Lemon unless he's very annoyed. Poor Lemon, at the bottom of the pecking order.

Anyways, imagine my surprise when I came home and my mom told me Clover had given Fajr a kiss. I'm always having to pull the two apart, so it's a good improvement, though tiny. The three of them are at a weird place, flock-wise. They'll take flight together, but Fajr doesn't like being on the same perch as them. He hates Clover because she's become comfortable with me and if I'm sitting somewhere, she'll fly over after a while. Their cages were right next to each other for a while before we moved the other two this morning and it seems no love has been lost. Fajr would angrily perch at the side of his cage next to them and make threats with his body language. No flock calls or anything for them.

Clover would call if I left the room, though. False advice, whoever said birds with companions won't be noisy when they're alone. Clover and Lemon start talking and calling up a storm until you respond.
