Rajah is not the least bit bashful or overly gentle about letting Keeta know that he is not pleased with her visits with me.

They don't like to share, that's for sure! But they do learn, Wolf. Sweetpea used to hate my guts because his chosen one loved me but he is fine now (granted, it has taken years and years but it did happen and that's what's important).

He is welcome to take all the time that he wants and needs. It does make it a bit harder with Keeta now as she is so excited to get out of the cage for a while that she has to wind down a bit. She comes out and flies to me and bites the ???? out of me three or four times goes into my shirt pocket and tries to enlarge it for a nest then she comes out for a piece of almond and then she is ready for head scratches.
She is in that phase where she wants Rajah and doesn't want him at the same time, but they are not fighting. So everything is still good and Keeta has a full time boyfriend. Rajah is delighted with her and is starting to be more accepting of her coming out to see me. He still doesn't like it, but I think he sees that it is a fight that she won't let him win.

Well, hens are dominant in plets so I bet he is used to 'obeying' I also think she will calm down a lot once the days are shorter -I bet she has upped the production of sexual hormones temporarily due to her finally getting a mate.

If plets are as similar to lovies as I think they are, she most definitely did because male lovies (and budgies!) vocalizations 'finish up' bringing the hens into condition (canaries are the same but I don't think that tiels are like that... I am not sure though).

Couldn't say about that at this time. These are my first Parrotlets, so I will have to keep on observing them. That is for me what this thread is all about, my observations and hopefully it will eventually contain enough information to be useful to others as well.

Keeta is back to her usual loving and excited self for her morning visits with me. She has always been very excited about coming out, but was not normally biting me like she has been doing of late. It has been a couple of days now that the biting has been absent so I expect that this phase is done for.
Keeta has this coconut thing hanging in her cage, it is simply some rope and blocks of wood with two halves of a coconut that are held about four inches apart that she uses to sleep in. At first Rajah was not allowed on or in it, then she would allow him to inspect it if she was not in it, last night she allowed him to sleep in it on the far side from her, but in it with her. This afternoon I caught them preening each other for the first time. That is the first time that I have seen.
Rajah spends a lot of time trying to get Keeta to follow him around, but to no avail. At this point she is just not the following kind, she on the other hand has no problem with him following her. Man, can that little Rajah jump! He jumps about three quarters of the way across the cage without using his wings for even one beat. Might should have called him Frog, but I have never seen a blue frog.

Awww, the romance deepens... how WONDERFUL for both of them! She won't follow him, she is the dominant one.

As to a blue frog, look at the Okopipi ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_poison_dart_frog)
