It would not play for me. it played for about one second and that was all. I do appreciate the thought.

Keeta is still her normally sweet self with me when she comes out in the mornings for her bit of almond and juice after which she plays with my shirt, sometimes going into my shirt pocket and for her head scratches before returning to her cage to boss Rajah about and for mid dat napping.

It is still so funny to watch him jump to attention when she chitters at him in a specific tone and run to one of the food dishes and gobble food as fast as he can to go back and feed her. I have never seen such a thing as this before these two. It is as amazing to watch as it is funny.
I have a pair of budgies and the male feeds the female all of the time and sometimes it is right after she starts chirping a him, but he does not jump to it the way that Rajah does. Although they are both responding to the same thing with the same action, the whole manner of their doing it is whole worlds apart. With the budgies it is cute, but with the parrotlets it is as humorous as it is fascinating.
Rajah is still aloof and untouchable at this time although he is getting much less jumpy about my approach and presence around their cage. He has finally accepted that every morning Keeta is going to come out and visit and play with me and he no longer hangs on the side bars of their cage screaming angrily at us. He now just goes about his own affairs and eats or watches quietly from a nice comfortable perch or even takes a bath while waiting for Keeta to return to him.

Wonderful news! But, then, I did not have a single doubt that they would do just great together and that she would continue loving you same as before because of the way you deal with them. It's possible that, as time goes by and he feels more secure in his relationship with her, he no longer 'jumps' to do her bidding.

Oh, I realize that this is all new to them as well as to me and don't expect that their relationship would remain the same as it is now. My experience is that all good relationships are living growing things and therefore some changes are not only to be expected but encouraged as well.
I am just making observations and sharing them.

Rajah is still an untouchable, but he is becoming less skittish when I approach the cage. He keeps a close watch on Keeta still although he is not hovering over her all of the time any more. It is like he is realizing that both of them are going to stay together as long as there is no fighting, and I think that this is helping him to relax with her.
Keeta is calming down and not biting me now if I am a little bit late on letting her come out to play in the mornings and is being very sweet again while she is out. I also usually get her some time to come out in the early evening shortly before dinnertime, which I dropped early on when she had started getting very bitey, but I have resumed doing this as she has quit eating me alive and this is probably helping both of them to further adjust to the stresses of a full time mate.
Over all I am very pleased with the progress that they are making both together and individually. Now that Keeta is back to her usual self, I suspect that she will be a major influence on Rajah and calming him down enough so that I have a chance of gaining his trust. I suspect that the fact that he is becoming less skittish with me is largely due to the time that I have spent with Keeta and that he gets to see her playing with me and enjoying herself and that she always returns to him when we are finished playing and relaxing and she gets her fill of scratches, which she loves.

Wolf, that is wonderful news.
I have seen something similar with my cockatiels. Shadow came to me afraid of everything. He did allow me to scoop him up when he was out and got tired. Sweetie and I were bonded and she calmed him down. He first chose Charlene but she died a few months later. He courted Sweetie and wore her down. After that she was his moon and stars. He fed her, sang to her and while on her nest he would sit with her. It was like he was afraid that she would leave him too.

Wonderful update, Wolf! I am so happy that things are working out so well for both Keeta and Rajah! Is there any improvement in Keeta's plucking?

Actually, I just looked to be certain and there does appear to be some improvement although she is still a bit ragged looking.
