Hi.. I am new to the site... First Thanks to Wolf for helping me find my way on here :P I had 2 sets of Budgies las year Both pairs had 7 eggs.. 7 fertile on one side and 6 fertile on the other. a lot for my first time!! I read so much about breeding I became really well informed and successful raising 17 Beautiful, Healthy & Happy Birds.. eventually I gave them all to a friend who has a wonderful Aviary outside that looks like a forest! Fortunately for me he lives very close! so I can go and see them often. They love it in there. My sister bought me a 3 month old Conure for my Birthday before they went. She is amazing!! I have had her for 2 months.. and trained her to Potty before we go play. I hope to train her to a Harness soon. I made a "Snuggle Bed" for her as the one from the Pet Store wasn't comfy for her... She LOVES her new bed so much she protects it if I want to take it out to wash! so I made a spare! Also I made one for the Sales Lady at the Pet Store for her bird. I put one up on ebay and it went to Australia! I will sell them on here if anyone wants one.. or you can find them on ebay. Cozy Snuggle Bed for Conure/Parrot. I am excited to interact on here with other Bird lovers ..
Thank you Chasten

My dear, please don't make birdy beds out of that material. It's dangerous. Also, I am afraid that Nevada is not a place where you can have budgies outside, it's too dry for them, they need higher humidity. They do live in arid regions in Australia but always on the rivers shores...

I also hope you are no longer breeding budgies... they are in such HUGE overpopulation!
