This is a free fly group in Singapore. They gather here regularly to free fly their parrots.

I really love watching them fly, it is probably the closest that I will ever get to seeing a parrot flying the way it is meant to, other than in some documentaries of them in the wild.
I understand the allure of doing this, although I won't do it. I wonder if flying them along with other people who are also doing this reduces the risk of a bird flying off, do you know?

From what I was told the biggest enemy of free flying other than predators is the wind. Most pet parrots got lost because of the strong wind. My friend told me group flying reduces the risk of the birds flying off course. I have a small group of friends doing free fly once a week for the last 2 months. I joined them as a spectator yesterday. They free fly green cheeks and a rainbow lory.
