'Tiels!

Postby mrbowlerhat » Sun Nov 01, 2015 6:24 pm

So my bird family has recently gone from four to six!  With the renovating and re-building of the bird room and a lot of free time on my behalf, now felt like a pretty good time to take on the adorable challenge of a fifth and a sixth baby in the flock. I've had them for about three or four days now and they're the cutest things!

They're these lil' cockatiel brothers, Jack and Ianto, parent-raised and not used to handling, but they're super chill with me around (and pretty much halfway IN) their cage. :P They chatter back to me when I talk to them, they're pretty curious by nature, and Jack has already eaten some millet from my hand. They're more than fine with my camera and phone and stuff too, so that's good, because I love taking pictures of cute birds ;)
I'm looking forward to getting to know them more and doing some bonding with them! And I'm excited for them to get out of quarantine and move into my new bird room too - it's basically just three big aviaries, one for each species :)

(Jack is the one with a lot of grey on his wings, Ianto is the whiter one with lighter orangey cheeks)
