I really love this video. Kookooloo loves to talk and whistle and sing she does this not only in the mornings but randomly throughout the day. She can speak human words but will only do them when she is alone with me. If anyone else is nearby she will whistle and make sounds that she has heard but she reserves the speech for just me.

I dont thave a grey but I do have african parrots. My Red Belly talks and does whistles and sounds and laughs. She will do them in front of strangers, she usualy speaks even more when strangers are around. She has said new things in front of strangers that I am hearing for the first time. Some times I am talking to a guest and she will start to talk laughing in between, her sentences with a laugh that sounds like mine. She gets everyone laughing. My daughter says her birds are learning to say what my Red Belly says and she is constantly hearing what a Good Bird Gaugan is and how Pretty she is ....lol

She doesnt need that soap box Wolf, By contrast my Meyers only speaks when family is around, he is young so may change though.
