Thankfully, my redbelly, Isis, is also a very good girl which never bites but she has been a bit of pest asking for head scratches - not that I resent it, mind you! but it's a constant thing and I need both my hands to do my chores so I guess that, sometimes, I disappoint herI have been looking for a male redbelly for her since I got her but no luck so far...
It helps Gaugan right now that she can preen Sunny. But she is almost 18 so she is pretty established that I am her favorite. I have to watch her closely right now she was perching on my shoulder while I typed and it felt like she was tickling my shoulder, but now that i looked at my shoulder she was removing the outer epidermis of my skin...I think I will attach some more pine slabs, to give her more to chew and add some papers and carboards, in her foraging toys, tht usually satisfys that urge. She does have a new wicker basket and a seagrass woven forging toy and she is happy to spend a lot of time on them right now too.
