Yes she came home yesterday. Currently quarantined in the spare room so Ollie is back in the living room full time for a few weeks.
Just trying to get her in at a vets tomorrow, ours is off for personal reasons and the surgery have no idea if/when he is going back. He better go back because it took forever to find a vet I trusted but for now at least I need to find another :(

Rena is such a sweetheart, I'm totally in love with her already. I have no idea how her old owner could bare to give her up.

Thank you shiraartain we have a couple in mind but haven't registered yet, that's today's job but it is a bit early at the moment.

There is a new one which is a lot nearer to us than our current one but I haven't heard anything good about it at all :( it's a real shame as it's only 20 mins away. Ours is 45 mins if the traffic is good but could be any amount of time if the motorway is shut. There is another one around the same area but I can't stand him, he handled Ollie really badly, gave some terrible advice and described him as mentally disturbed when rock bottom basic tests didn't diagnose him.

Haha I think so too. She is beautiful and such a character. I don't think they are going to take much introducing at all.

She's already creating mischief, she loves the bracelet I wear and she keeps pressing buttons on my phone as I'm typing- I've had to start this message over as she wiped it!

She is settling in really quickly, the move doesn't seem to have phased her at all but it's only been 48 hours, it feels longer. She's spent loads of time yesterday chewing my hands and preening my hair gently.

Physically she appears to be bigger than Ollie, her voice is a lot shriller too, I haven't heard any typical green cheek noises from her yet. Apparently she can talk a little but so far she by makes microwave beeps! She greets me by lifting her wings slightly from her body and calls when I leave the room but is mainly quiet.

Having her in the spare room has given me a good excuse to reorganise it so she has been "helping" me . I have offered her a bath but she isn't interested yet. I think her previous owner smoked as the room smelt of very old smoke and the smell seems to have followed us.

I bet you the smell is on her and the cage. I've had to wash cages with a strong bleach solution, rinse them with a hose and leave them outdoors for days to get the cigarette smoke smell out of them! She sounds delightful and I am sure you are already over the moon for her - I know I would be! And if both of them are like the ones I've had, they will like each other almost instantaneously -I've never had a single problem getting the little ones to bond.

The cage is our own, she did come with one but I said no sell it separately. It was a good cage but we have loads already which aren't in use. The smell is definitely on her though. I've offered her another bath today but she still isn't interested yet.

I really cannot wait to get her in the living room with us. My boyfriend was called away last minute so I'm having to split my time between the two of them. I'm changing clothes constantly atm! If she hadn't been around other birds I may have considered a slightly shorter quarantine but I know she had been around others and not worth the risk.
