feeding the land mammals

L would treat dandelion greens the same as spinach and kale, a little goes a very long way.

Yeah, it's not like I would feed it to my birds all that often or anything. I'm just wondering if it's ok to harvest the dandelion greens from my yard. I don't think they're expensive enough for it to matter or anything, but it would at least be a bit more convenient then having to go to the one store I know of that sells them.

Just making sure, so if the occasion calls for them, they would be easy to obtain.

I do that all the time. No dog comes to my garden and I don't use any chemical products whatsoever on it (only organic fertilizer and only in the flower beds) so I often harvest the dandelion plants from it (I give the canaries the whole plant with roots and flowers).

I also harvest my own dandelion from my yard.
