If you're thinking of the Red-lored Amazon (Amazona autumnalis), it indeed has a black lower beak - but that's not the species Pauline is referred to as. The Red-crowned Amazon (Amazona viridigenalis) does look a lot like the Lilac-crowned (Amazona finschi) so I get why they might get mixed up, but the Lilac-crown has got a lot more.. Lilac.. on its head. Haha.
