food in my clothes

Postby liz » Sat Apr 02, 2016 8:31 pm

Does anyone else find food in their clothes while changing for bed? This evening was the worst. So many crumbs fell out of my clothes that I had to sweep them up to keep from tracking them through the house.

lol...yep, and i expect to find more on me now that Sunny is trying to feed me. Gaugan no longer tries to regurgitate on me, she has figured out that humans dont do that. But it took her many years. The worst is when they have mushed soft food and then fly over to you and wipe it on you.

Maybe I have been lucky in having parrots that never pooped on me all these years. But Sunny will wait to poop untill he comes out of his cage and I always have poop on me now. He also loves to sit on my laptop and I see poop sliding down the screen I have to keep cleaning it.

Haha! fun!
Tilly manages to fly onto anywhere but humans (her cage, the floor, the bench the bathroom towel rack.) to poo. I am glad for this, Shrek seems to think humans aren't 'poopy perches' either, but if she needs to go on someone she will anyway (she tries to get somewhere else, but cant fly and isn't very good at getting around, so she just goes.)

Myrtle was so deprived when I got her that she is now a foody and carries food with her when she lands on me. Crumbs can really itch.

My birds poop on me but don't ever eat while on my shoulder. I've taught them to perch on the back of a chair if I give them a little something extra while they are out.

I never let my parrots eat on me, but Sunny seems to think that anyone elses food is bettter than his and will fly on to eveyone elses plate or food dish. He certainly makes meal times exciting right now. He is stubborn.
