Asia seems to be a hotbed of poaching and illegal trafficking but I never imagined that they would find 4,000 birds all in one place - doesn't that number sound humongous to you, guys? I mean, how much longer can the species sustain that degree of poaching?

This definitely pulls at the heartstrings... The one image the news clip had was jarring. I couldn't imagine so many birds, and I feel for them and hope they're in for a better future now that they've been collected.

Let's hope most of them survived and those that did were rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
