This is a nice story as, thankfully, it has a happy ending but I would add here 'There if by the grace of God..." because this bird would have been toast if these two people had not been in exactly the right place at exactly the right time! Talk about luck!

Also, another example of how having a clipped bird is not a guarantee that it won't get lost and how clipping can give parrot owners a false sense of safety...
