Thank you!

The Rb is growing old disgracefully, too!

To wit...

(Sorry for the blur... I guess the cam wasn't fast enough to stop the action.
Real Rickeybird eggs are less than a quarter the size of this regular chicken egg.

Dang! The picture was too big? He's saying he'd love to get his wings on the hen that laid THIS ONE!

Kinda like the praying mantises? He should be careful what he wishes for. Might get his head bitten off...

Big Bird indeed!

Imagine what he thinks of ME, his pathetic hen... big as a barn, plucked all her feathers, and not a single egg after all these years of his virile attentions!!!!!!

RB with the egg reminds me of when I had Chick Chick. She had her own door to come in the sunroom for food and nest. As soon as she laid the egg and went back out Rainbow would go sit on it. I guess she came back in and scared her out the chicken door. I heard Rainbow yelling "HELLOOOO" to me from outside and he was looking in the window.

Thanks, Lorrius... I agree. I have to work hard to make up for my shortcomings alright!

Liz, now I'm singing Old McDonald to myself... with a chick chick here and a chick chick there...
What a great story.
