Ummmmmmmmmm... Liz... ummm... gainful employment is possibly an issue.

Alien... I'm likin' that idea.

Pajarita... he didn't do that... he found it online...
It seems both males in my life are unreliable.

Here's a way the Rb can stay!

 But Rickeybird doesn't see you like that at all - Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and love is blind, deaf and dumb!

Pajarita! You know how to tug at my heart-strings!
I got misty-eyed at what you said. Right before I had to laugh at myself. He DOES love me.
It's just the most moving, humbling thing, isn't it?

In all honesty, Liz, I feel sorrier for the birds than for the humans. Lots of humans out there getting the benefit of being loved by a bird but not giving the same in return! Not because they don't love the bird, they do! but the 'quality' of our love is always much inferior to theirs... they put up with loneliness, boredom, captivity, not reproducing (their MAIN directive in life), sharing us, not getting a good diet, etc and still they love us with all their hearts and souls!

I so agree with you. The health and happiness of the bird comes first. I was just meaning that most humans do not care to see the personalities of these beautiful being. It is a shame. If more would take the time to understand there would be no homeless or suffering birds.
