She speaks so clearly, doesn't she? I always wonder at how far away you are when they fly to you... I don't think my birds would stay behind if I put them somewhere and walk away.

She has a vocab of 150 words and sentences excluding sounds. The leash is in between 40-50 ft. I adjust the length in a way that she can fly within the playground area.

150 words! WOW and bilingual! No, no, I wasn't talking about the leash. What I mean was that if I put one of my birds on a perch or anywhere and just walk away, the bird would immediately take off so it can get to me... they would never stay like yours do and wait for the order to come to me. Sheesh, I have a couple of them that are a pest! They perch on me and when I tell them to fly off, they just take off, fly in a small circle and come back to perch on me over and over and over

My green cheeks are like pest too. If I go to the washroom, all of them will follow.

I know. Most of the critters sit outside the bathroom door. A couple times Rambo was in the mix.
Myrtle was not there. She never let go and went to the bathroom on my shoulder.

Yes, GCCs are the worst but a little lovebird I have now is a VERY close second with the female Senegal and the female ARB right behind him.- Pajarita
