Ahhh, well, I have to tell you that the brown eye, black eye thing doesn't really work. I had two cockatoos with completely black eyes that were females (they laid eggs!).

Why do some Galahs have pink bubbles around their eyes? I thought only the Males had that but I've seen a female with it.

Pink bubbles? I haven't seen that many Galahs in person (maybe 4 or 5 only) but I don't remember any pink bubbles around their eyes. Could they be fatty cysts? Because they are very prone to them as they need a low fat diet and people tend to feed them wrong.
