Backyard breeding

Postby Pajarita » Thu Jun 15, 2017 10:21 am

These are two articles about a woman who had over 500 parrots in cages in her backyard and sold the babies through CL. The neighbors complained about the smell, the flies and the noise which prompted the investigation. The daughter said this was her mother's hobby but, if you ask me, it was nothing but a cash business to her. It also illustrates the terrible life these breeding birds have even when the seller calls him/herself a 'hobbyist' breeder and why buying babies is never recommended.
