Quaker stolen from store

It seems to me that these birdstores are managed by idiots! I mean, why do they leave the birds unsupervised?!

There was a pet shop in High Point NC that let the birds out in the morning to stay out all day. They were surrounded by people so did not know a stranger. One little bird jumped on my shoulder as I walked by. He was so sweet. I told the clerk that this was a dangerous practice and anyone could just walk out with a bird.
She took the bird off my shoulder and closed him into his cage. All the other birds were still out.
Some times I wonder how these people can put their shoes on in the morning.
