Tropical birds and forests

Postby Pajarita » Sun Feb 25, 2018 10:45 am

An article explaining the difference between 'old' forests and 'new' ones and the role they play in birds species survival. As a reminder of how important they are please consider that there are species of parrots that would ONLY nest in very old trees, like the Spix and the orangebellies -two species that are almost extinct mainly because of deforestation.
