Bird woman's flock

Postby Bird woman » Thu Jun 28, 2018 10:54 am

Just touching bases with everyone, So much has been going on really I don't know where to start. My facility is growing by leaps and bounds but still keeping things down to a dull roar. This summer we are building a huge 2000 sq. Ft flight enclosure full of trees and bird safe plants with access off the main bird room with big glass sliders. This is a huge undertaking but nessesary for the fids and my sanity. I put 4 - 5 ft. By 10 ft avairy's in the front but noticed everyone sits there like bumps on a log when outside The little brats would much rather be in the house flying around and getting into everything so this new enclosed area will be as close to being in a natural habit as I can possibly make it. Full grass area , water features as well as trees to climb and bushes to munch on. I will be able to hang out there with them and hopefully they will get a better idea on how to be a bird. There has been quite a few new birds through here but I have been able to find some super special homes for them. I am happy to say I am in contact with all that have adopted from me and guide them all the way and it's been super successful. Hope all is well with everyone BW

Yes, it does!! How wonderful that you have found good homes for many birds! I can't seem to be able to... Everybody either works full time or has children or is too young or lives in an apartment or something.
