As an info note: I don't put a whole lot of credit to the 'sanctuary accreditation' because I know one of the people who do the inspections for it and she runs an overcrowded rescue that uses breeders cages from the floor up, three tier high, to house the birds - nuff said!
Also, although I no longer believe in parrot sanctuaries as a fits-all homeless parrots solution [the greatest majority of human imprinted birds are not happy in them], it is a wonderful thing for ex-breeders and birds that were wild-caught as adults or juveniles or birds that were abused.
