I highly recommend your reading this WONDERFUL story of love for animals bringing enemies together and of government officials moving Heaven and Earth to save a single beloved pet parrot! I ended up with tears running down my face and a renewed hope for mankind -which has been pretty low, I might say, for the last few years!
