Lion King is wrong

A production of The Lion King, which, of course, is supposed to be in Africa, has macaws in it and, as we all know, macaws come from South America and not Africa! This is a big beef I have with media when it comes to birds, they make no effort whatsoever in presenting them the right way... they could have used so many other species that are indigenous to Africa but no, they chose a South American one!

Ay, Michael, of course they are not going to show the lions (which are supposed to be the 'good guys' in the story) killing Bambi! It's a story for children so, of course, they are going to make it look as if the lions were 'nice' but that doesn't mean that they couldn't have chosen an African parrot to appear on the play. They are as abundant in the pet trade as the South American ones...
