They are having a fundraiser to 'fix' a stuffed macaw that was brought as a wild-caught from Guatemala back in 1907 and roamed a famous building in Schenectady NY until his death, when he was taxidermed. It is now part of the collection at the Historical Society but it's falling apart. Now, I hope that it looks that way because it has been dead for a looooong time and not because it was very unhealthy in life but it does look like crap!
