tacotaco wrote:some updated pics of baby allegra. her and charlie are doing soo well together - better than i ever imagined to be honest. they both do their own thing and a lot of times will sit and preen each other. the best part about it all, while i am developing a relationship with allegra, charlie's relationship with me has stayed the same (this was my biggest worry about getting a second bird was that charlie might resent me and not be as loving towards me) luckily he hasn't changed a bit! i feel like a lucky mama....

Oh my..... she is sooo cute!! Lovely photos of your baby Allegra!!

i guess she will become Albert LOL but really, i'm most likely not going to have her or Charlie sexed. I just don't want to know :?

Until Charlie pops an egg

Seriously though, there are more advantages to knowing what the sex is than being "disappointed" (for lack of a better word) when learning one is not what you believed it was.

Help understands some behaviours and helps prepare adequately should a hen ever start laying eggs...
