The poaching is SOOOOOO bad in India that Calcutta's High Court (like a state Supreme Court) is taking Suo Moto Cognizance Of Illegal Smuggling & Trading ('suo moto' is when a situation is so very bad and common that the court takes a case on its own without anybody actually presenting it to them)

So so terrible- I saw a photo a few years back of the back of a truck covered in dead IRNs where they got too hot and all died from someone’s greed trying to drive them over a border in airtight containers.

Yes, the poaching in Asia is TERRIBLE! And in Africa, too. They are going to end up with no native animals...
