I wish I new where all my babies were today, it would be nice to see how they are living. You have beautiful pictures!! Are you handfeeding yet? I would love one but my husband will kick me out of my house if I get another bird!! Or any other animal for that matter lol. Good luck with the babies, I hope they go to wonderful homes! Kelly
Thanks Kelly, Yes many sleepless nights and I even competed at the Australia Taekwondo Selection having got up at 2am, 4am and 6am in the morning of the comp! Having said that, its well worth it. We even took one to the Vet because I was concerned about his Crop empty time. The breeder thought it was OK but I couldn't risk anything happening to the little fella
$145 later and some Antibiotics and he is 100%. Transport to the vet required a portable incubator! But its all good and I wouldn't change a thing.
Its a lot of work and it does come close to bringing up a human baby. They have just started sleeping through the night but I can't help but check up on them.
I've met all the people the birds will be going to with the exception of one that's interstate. They all have their cages and toy etc ready to go. Its going to be nice seeing them go to good homes, but its also going to be very sad. They are being hand feed all are still putting on weight with the exception of the oldest one who is about to go through a new phase.
Will post some more pictures when I get home
