I get only two windows of opportunity, one around 10am and another around 8pm, where the female will leave the nest to do her Droppings (they wont do it in the nestbox). As soon as she's out I'm in to take a photo. I don't want to freak her out but we must keep an eye on the little ones just in case. Having said that both parents have been amazing.
The 3 week mark seems to be what most breeders and books recommend as far as pulling the chicks, so we'll stick to the 3 week mark. Feeding is going to be a lot easier since its only going to be 3 feeds a day (possibly 4 but only for the first week).
