Thanks Guys :) Hey that means they have the same Hatch Day as Mojo!

My wife was first to hear them early this morning. Neo has been busy feeding Trinity, who I assume has been feeding the two chicks. Only early days yet, but both parents have been doing a great job, so we will stay out of it.

So egg 1 hatched on day 25 and egg 2 hatched on day 23, so both within range.

This whole experience has been nothing short of mind blowing! They sound so cute. Such little voices that seem to be getting slightly louder every hour.

EDIT: This is what they sound like http://home.iprimus.com.au/domjohnautomotives/audio/2010_07_04%20Baby%20Conures.mp3

Just over 24 hours old and looking good. A lot more active this morning. Expecting the next few eggs to hatch over the course of this week.

You're not wrong! Hearing their little faint voices is just amazing! I just want to pick them up. Its also amazing just watching how well the parents work well together.

In any case another one hatched today!

Wow! Congratulations. How did you get the parents off of them to get the photos? How old do you plan to pull them?

Thanks Michael,

I get only two windows of opportunity, one around 10am and another around 8pm, where the female will leave the nest to do her Droppings (they wont do it in the nestbox). As soon as she's out I'm in to take a photo. I don't want to freak her out but we must keep an eye on the little ones just in case. Having said that both parents have been amazing.

The 3 week mark seems to be what most breeders and books recommend as far as pulling the chicks, so we'll stick to the 3 week mark. Feeding is going to be a lot easier since its only going to be 3 feeds a day (possibly 4 but only for the first week).

I got some video footage of mom with a little one, which should show just how little they are :) I'll post it on Youtube as soon as I get time.
