Big at heart.

Postby YungAndintrigued » Sun Jul 04, 2010 9:36 am

This morning about a hour or two after I woke up I took my two birds Sunny, My parakeet and starbuck, My conure out to go play in the family room. I was sitting on the couch with Starbuck on my shoulder when all the suddent my little parakeet flys off the other side of the couch and trys to dive bomb starbuck. Luckly for me Starbuck is very well tempered and he just ignored the little incident. I thought it was very funny though that such a small bird would try something like that, especially against a bird twice his size! :budgie:

They are both parakeets, would you like to clarify what kind of parakeets you have.

Wow they are both classified as parakeets? I never knew that thanks for the informaton. Starbuck, is a 1 year old sun conure and the smaller one Sunny, is a budgie. I bought from the petco a long time ago.

Parakeets are any number of small, long-tailed parrots. Budgerigars are parrots, they are small, and they have long tails. Sun "Conures" are parrots, small, and have long tails. Both parakeets. Many people call them Sun Parakeets in fact because the term "Conure" is very loosely defined.
