Good to see its not just me! My Cockatiel does this all the time and it drives me nuts! Just keep at it because I know I would love to see Scooter in action :D

You gotta get the camera out first and video waiting for the cute thing to happen. Or do like me and put it on cue so you could show it at your convenience

My guys do the same.
It's like the become shy all of a sudden and just stare at me. Joey will even start preening automatically whenever he sees a camera.

Have to be sneaky with them ;)

Had the best time last night.

My sister and her husband came over to our place for dinner. In any case Jazz started doing his talking, whistling tunes etc Naturally this gets everyone's attention and they all get excite and so does the bird. He's loving the attention. so he gets louder and puts on the most spectacular show for them. After about 20min of this, my sister says "I've got to video this, no one will believe me" and gets out her phone! She must have taken about 50min of footage of a Cockatiel sitting in its cage doing NOTHING.

I should have videoed her videoing the bird doing absolutely NOTHING! Now that would have been a great video
