A portrait of Joey

As some of you might be aware, I'm slowly having paintings done of all of my birds. So far I have one of Shade and one of Piper, it recently was Joey's turn..and here it is

He works at a local pet store as well. Normally when he's done a painting he lets me know (he sends a picture before glazing it to make sure it's to my liking) and then I just go pick it up there

Be that as it may, I actually find he's been able to capture my birds' essence in the portraits. I look at them and don't just think "Lovebird, Senegal, Red-bellied"..it's definitively "Piper, Shade and Joey".

I'm with you there Natacha. They are beautiful portraits, but I've seen enough pictures of your birds and I agree that he has captured the essence of your birds. While Shade, Joey and Pixel are beautiful birds ... they aren't my Lucy and Jessie.

I just wanted to point out that while it might be the same species, the ones I have are definitively portraits of my birds

Plus, he only does one of each so I think it would cost the same, regardless of what is ordered
