Galileo is a she!

Postby Azure Hanyo » Wed Aug 11, 2010 1:01 pm

When I adopted Galileo, I was told she was a he, and an 8-year old he at that. Well...the nice lady at the rescue he chose me from called me today and told me that they said they found "his" hatch certificate, and he is a she and only 5 years old. Hahaha, oh well, she will just have a funny name! You know... I was kind of wondering about that because I always thought Galileo was very feminine!

I call her Gally a lot, so it works out. :) And I am very glad she's younger, it means she will be with me longer. Woo!

It doesn't faze me one bit. :) I am glad I know she's a female though, just in case she becomes egg-bound so I know the warning signs. I would have most likely not even thought of the possibility if I would have continued thinking she were male. But I don't think any different of her. :D
