My babies (video)

Charlie and Allegra - as you can see Charlie is a bit aggressive with her. He tries to rub his vent on her and they will regurgitate in each others mouth every so often. But overall they've been really great and just play/preen each other when they are out together!

She doesn't really seem to be bothered by it but it looks like he's really being rough! Birds aren't usually that rough, are they? I mean when they're actually bringing food to eachother?

Wow, Alegra is such a baby! Those two seem to really get along. Mine can tolerate each other but if Truman bumped Kili like that, she would snap right at him!

besides when he is "feeding" her, he is extremely gentle with her. sometimes if he pisses her off though, she will bite at his ankles but they never try to hurt each other. i think when all birds feed like that they do it the same way. you should see her eat applesauce..she jerks the spoon in the same strength that charlie feeds her. :)

Well if it turns out the sexes are background, then they'll just be Charlene and Alegro.

Love the photos!!

Our Breeder GCC's do the same. When the female is ready and in the mood ;) she exposes her vent to the male. You know our GCCs use to go for it up to 9 times in one day and they would get really loud!! Its pretty funny, because the male changes position and everything.

Can't wait for the stage two video ;)

BTW: Their colours really complement each other.
