Bird Windowslammed

Postby tishihara1994 » Tue Sep 07, 2010 8:01 pm

So today my mom just started screaming my name and i'm like..WHAT WHAT WHAT. And i find this gray bird on the ground panting and panting and my mom told me it crashed into the window. So i get a shoe box, fill it up with paper towels, and just leave it. He (just assume its a boy) seemed to be in shock but now, he's better. When i open the box a little, he'll peek his eye out and look at my little budgie. I hope he won't die on me and I'm doing my very best to keep it alive. Just gonna keep it in the box for the next couple hours till we know it's stable.

Poor little guy. :( Hope he pulls through! I know you probably know this, but please be sure to keep him AWAY from your budgie, just in case it has parasites or an illness. Good luck recovering little birdie!!!

I actually spend a lot of time in front of Windows and Mirrors with my birds so they get use to them. If you are close and they try to fly into the window they can't build up enough speed to hurt themselves. We don't have this problem as a result of this sort of training.

Good to hear the little fella is OK
