lol That was adorable! He was wide awake, hopping around......I guess he just had a craving for a bath :P

Btw, I'm totally with you guys. I've committed to being a one-bird lady....but these lorikeets and senegals and red bellies are so tempting intelligent and beautiful...

My fiance was "iffy" at first when I started to push for getting a parrot for our first pet together (the choice was parrot or kitty) and my initial defense was "Look, everyone who writes about keeping parrots and everything I read...people never have just one, they have at least 2 or 5, so they must be wonderful in lots of ways if people get so addicted" and he's like......"That's what I'm afraid of."

Let's give it another 10 years with Mango and then see if I have the energy for a few more

i think having more than one bird is fun( not to hi-jack the topic), when one doesn't want to be bothered or played with, you can try the next one, and so on. When you are gone, they get the flock sensation as well, keeping eachother company. Its not like having four or five dogs, where they all come to you at once, and are jealous of eachother. Just my opinion. ;)

So cute and cheeky! I love it that he's just like, "hello", like it's completely natural to wake you up in the middle of the night by taking a bath!

And just to comment about the one-bird vs more birds discussion (NOT to hijack either but it's interesting) I figured I'd be a one-bird woman but more and more I'm being tempted, for various reasons (some of which asusz mentioned) to get a second bird. But I'd stop at TWO! :P
