Aquarium with birds @ Mystic, CT

I enjoyed a really nice weekend in Mystic, CT. Never been there and a friend and I decided that it would be a nice trip. It was my first time going to an aquarium (at age 23, yes) and I was super excited like an 8 year old. To my surprise, they had a huge bird aviary thingy outside - 800 birds!!! Parakeets, cocktiels and rosellas. I must admit they were very cautious, young kids had to be held, there were many people working inside while people were walking around- they would tell us to watch our step etc etc. when exiting they had u walk out one door - make sure no birds got out - then exit the real door. We were told to check out pockets and bags frequently because the birds were nesting. Anyways, I took some pics and figured I'd share it with you all.

i was very careful but i was a little nervous to see younger people walking around and not watching their every step. a lot of people that worked in the bird exhibit were telling everyone to be careful and walk slow. hopefully they never had an accident like that
