I love it! I wish I could have had that sign up in the pet store I worked at.

Would love to see a pet store with that but in all honesty I think if you eductate people in all aspects Good and bad, most will make the right decision.

Its no different to having kids. Had one of my wife's female friends ask me if I thought things would change much when they had kids

That all seems true except the food part may be a bit overpriced.
It also depends on the type of parrot, it could be anywhere from a parakeet to a hyacinth macaw!

Well, for one thing, 2 hours a day of attention is incorrect. They require much more than that. And I agree about the perches, they don't cost me anything because I use tree branches But I don't know about the food bill been that inaccurate, I know I spend a huge amount of money on their food but then I feed organic and have a lot of them - and the supplements are quite expensive (over $150 a month). But, actually, I think this is just plain old as it has gotten cheaper as the years have gone by because organic produce is more accessible now (thank goodness for Whole Foods!).
