What are Green Cheeks Conures like? - Video

This is a quick video I put together of our Green Cheek Conure. She is about 12 weeks old and her wing has healed up great (she had an injury). Most of this video was taken yesterday. Hope you like it.

Up until recently I would have said the Cockatiel has been great, now that's because he mainly whistles tunes so it's not so bad. Over the last few weeks our main focus has been the little ones who are all gone with the exception of ours, so Jazz has been feeling a little left out. His new habit is imitating the Alarm on our Oven . . that is getting VERY irritating

Belle's bad habit is being on our shoulder and calling to the parents, which really hurts our ears. So in summary, one making an irritating alarm sound and the other too loud on our shoulder . . but we love them heaps so all is good

We have a GCC and a Cockatiel at the store, and the cockatiel makes more noise, quantity wise, but the quality is just bright chirps and whistles, so it's pleasant to listen to. The conure makes the squawking, whining sounds, sharp bursts of sound, and it's less frequent, but more annoying to listen to. I'd much rather listen to a cockatiel over any other bird.

I took my son to a Locksmith Client of mine and he was showing my son some bank safes etc. So my son was trying to build a lego combination lock and Belle wouldn't let him work on it. Towards the end she started fly off with the parts because she knew he would take them off her He was complaining the whole time but you could see he loved it!
