he's very cute and I love the name! I'm curious, do half-moon conures have loud/shrill calls? I'm trying to learn more on the species...

Yes they do... BUt Disney doesn't shriek very much, mostly he makes happy bird sounds. My first Half Moon used to shriek when people came into the room, or when my mean dad walked by he would shriek to warn us the meanie is here.... so funny.
