yes entranced, instantly thought of your scooter when i heard the name, but he knows his name and says it so changing it is out of the question!! maybe we can refer to them as big and little?

yeah he's an "exhibitionist" ;) lol!

Today was our second time meeting, and it went very well!! Unfortunately(not for me but him) her hyacinth was all over me to play, he would not leave me alone long enough to spend a ton of time with Scooter, but what we accomplished today was MAJOR. He allowed me to hold him multiple times(still putting up a military fight, lol) scratch his back and give head scratches. It was a great experience with lots of food, ice cubes, and fun.

heres a picture and crappy cell phone video:

here he vocalizes, regurgitates for me, dances, and says hi :]

I love the military macaw and considered getting one but settled on the Hahn's. Good luck! he looks pretty good at least he has not plucked his wings, and hopefully he doesn't....

Big Scooter and Little Scooter, LOL!

We could go all Welsh and call them "Scooter the Skin" and "Scooter the Laugh" or something.

What an adventure!

Oh darn, you had to play with a hyacinth? Sounds awful! ;) In all seriousness though, I'm terribly jealous. I've always wanted to meet a hyacinth.
