I put Disney outback today while I did yard work so he could have some sunshine and vitamin D.

half moons are surprisingly tiny... i always thought they would be a decent size bird before seeing one, but they are smaller than some green cheeks i've seen! i love how teeny they are.

While deciding on a bird I thought about a green cheek, and thought they would be about the same size as what I knew a Half Moon was, but seeing a couple of them at Pet Smart they are definitely larger.
The Half Moons are smaller for sure. I wonder if they are the smallest of conures? But they do have a lot of personality. Big bird personality in small bird package.
