She has been so cute tonight. I ordered a pay per view movie and hung out with her in my room. She makes all kinds of cute noices and likes treats and head scratches.

Unfortunately it appears she is afraid of my husband. Whenever he comes to see her she gets stressed out. Hopefully time will help that as she starts to recognize him more. He really wants to try and build a relationship with her, so I feel kind of bad for him. Right now she won't even entertain the idea of taking a treat from him.

She sounds like Pixel with my boyfriend.
She's much better with him now, although sometimes she still is a bit unsure. Give her time.

I don't think she was handled by many other people other than her old caregiver, give her a chance :)

I know that she needs time, but my husband isn't so patient. I told him yesterday he simply needs to start by spending time near her so she can get used to having him around. Then work on seeing if she'll take treats from him.

Our first night went well. Not even a peep from her last night. She's eating some breakfast right now.

I've spent the evening in my room with Kylie and she's a funny little character with the cutest little beeps and sqweaks. Right now she's perched and grinding her beak, which I think is a pretty good sign for her 2nd night here.

her yellow splashes are so pretty! Is that typical for a Meyers?

Some subspecies of Meyer's have some yellow on their forehead - some have more than others - while some don't.
Same can be said about the amount of yellow on their shoulders.

I have one who clearly has more on it's head than the other. That same one also has more a blue-ish belly and the other is greener.
