Another week, and more Barney pictures! He's growing up so quickly. Not too sure if I'm going to be able to get high res photos from the breeder this week, so once again excuse the photo quality :P It isn't me in the picture - I was the one holding the camera. There were a bunch taken with me and Barney but they turned out quite blurry :< He's playing with a stainless steel tag in these

On this one you can see the little bit of cinnamon on his wing.

He'll be flying by the end of the week most likely :cockatiel:

Originally I wanted a lutino cockatiel.

But life always has it's little surprises.

I ended up getting my least favorite cockatiel mutation, white face.

I believe it was fate that led me to Einstein, and now I can honestly say that he is the most beautiful bird in the world.

Your baby is almost as cute as mine, and keep the pictures rolling!

I like to think they choose you :D I wanted a lutino as well when I was a kid, but my first cockatiel Mikki ended up being a light pearl pied.

Barney wasn't my first choice as far as colours go - I had my eye on a platino or platinum cockatiel, but what can I say? Barney just stole my heart. The little bit of cinnamon on his wing is just too cute (you can only really see it in the last pic, it's 2 or 3 feathers tops).

I do disagree with you on one thing
Your baby is almost as cute as mine

No way XD My baby's the cutest. Your baby is almost as cute as mine!

I know you're not supposed to kiss your bird, but man I'd find it hard to keep myself from kissing Barney's tiny beak!

I don't even want to think about how one would go about French kissing a bird... :?

Should have seen him when I was there on the weekend - if he wasn't snuggling into my neck he was playing with my rings (when he wasn't squawking for food anyway!). He's at least twice as cute in person as he is in these pictures

I can believe it! My cockatiel was found as an adult in a park, & is just now getting accustomed to handling. He's a cutie, so I really have to rein myself in to give him time to warm up to me before I indulge in loving on him like he's a stuffed animal!

You & Barney are going to have such fun! :D
