She pulls out her tail feathers. She's done it for about 7 years and I think that the tail is just gone now. I haven't seen any growth since I got her about 7 months ago. The vet tried everything I'm told. She still picks out feathers on her back sometimes and she was self mutilating when I brought her home but she's been doing well for several months now.

She is adorable. She also has a deformed leg... her mother mutilated it in the nest so she was pulled really early. So she hobbles around with her no tail which sounds scary but just makes her seem more cute... you see her and your heart melts and all you want to do is take care of her!
