Bear- that first duck you posted is beautiful! I've never seen anything like it! What kind is it?

I'd venture a guess and say it's a type of wood duck..might be wrong though.

Gorgeous birds everyone!

These are my guys. Older photos...I haven't taken any new ones recently. I need to figure out how to get better use out of my camera...

This is the Amazon and the Pionus - they're like two siblings. The Pionus is always teasing the Amazon and she's always squawking back at him:

Image

This is the AG shortly after we got her. She's almost as plucked today as she was back then. Wish she'd stop!

Image

And a rare shot of the three of them together. The AG doesn't play well with others...so I generally take her out on her own. But it gives you an idea of sizes...

I can't find my cockatiel pictures! I'll post them if/when I find them.

here is my Joey, the stray parakeet we have had for a week now. I am training with him every day, following the training exercises Michael wrote. he is really starting to trust us :D you can see he is missing some feathers but he eats well. in the pictures he is sitting on a toy I made for him out of wood and stone beads and bells. and the last picture is the cage we bought for him. he needs more toys though :D we moved him from the office to the livingroom and he got SO happy, started making beautiful little sounds!
