I was telling my mother yesterday that I was posting pictures of our flock on this site, and our African Congo Grey, Zeena, looked at me today and said, "Put pictures of the birds on!" So I decided to stop procrastinating and get it done. [However, Zeena doesn't know her picture isn't going to be posted, not until she fully grows her feathers back from her plucking spree with her old owners.]
The first one is Jade, my Hahn's Macaw. Jade is definitely my baby girl, and we have a very close bond to one another. She is incredibly intelligent, and just yesterday learned how to play peek-a-boo. [saying "peek-a-boo" first try!] I got Jade due to the pet store my mother and I ran for 2 years, and she was abused and neglected. My mother and I had to rehabilitate her, and it makes my heart warm to see how far she's come along<3

This pretty girl's name is Zeebe, which unfortunately I had to sell her, for she wasn't as happy as she could be. I keep in touch with her new owners, and she is doing wonderfully!! She is one of the birds from my mother and I's pet store that we had to rehabilitate, and I did the work on my own with her, cause I was the only one she trusted at all. It was the hardest choice to sell her, and I will always hold her dear to my heart! [Blue fronted amazon]

This one is Lolita, a hand fed baby we got from an Avian Breeder. Statistics show that most birds do not actually start talking till they are about 2 years old, and at the age of 3 months she was jabbering away! She was by far the most funny bird we've ever had, and definitely the sweetest. We could put her on a 3 year old kid, and she would just love on them! No matter what you did to her she would never bite. Unfortunately due to lack of room, we had to sell Lolita as well. I still keep in touch with her owners as well and have actually swung by to see her. She loves her new home, and they give her full flight around the house. [Double Yellow Headed Amazon]

The last girl I'm going to post, her name's Sunny. She is a sun conure, with a very spoiled attitude. If she didn't have her way, she would scream and let us know. She had a sweet personality, but was EXTREMELY spoiled. We sold her to a country man, and she absolutely adores him. He also bought one of our jack russel puppies that we had, and Sunny enjoys to torment her and ride her around the house like her own pony.
