What?!?

When I follow the videos that are put on the forum, other videos are offered. Some are of dead birds being burried about a foot deep in the back yard. Even worse - people video their birds while they are dying instead of taking them to the vet. It is really awful.

Because of your Cocoa videos, I strung a rope accross my sunroom. Myrtle loves it.
One day I saw her hanging by one foot so she could kick a hanging toy with the other.
Myrtle is only a year old. She is like having a toddler in the house.

Glad to hear your birdie found a new way to entertain herself.

I had to take the rope down. It was strung about 18 inches from the ceiling and above my head. My sweet little Myrtle was starting to feel dominant. She complained for about 24 hours until I got another idea.

I cut a tree branch and attached it to the side of her cage. It sticks up about a foot above the cage and runs down the side with a part of it sticking out from the cage about 3 feet. It is still flexible and she gets out on the end of it to hang upside down or bounces. She even takes toys to the end of the branch to play.
She almost broke the branch by practicing her flying. She was holding onto the end of it and flapping.
Myrtle dancing to "Thriller" at the end of the branch is a sight to see. :blinking:

She doesn't care for regular bird toys. Her favorite is a hard plastic cat toy with a bell in it.

This doggie named Bobo was once my trekking pal. She used to followed me around on my trekking trips. I have not been trekking with her for a couple of months. She used to stay on top of the hill. I met her on the road this morning after trekking and she followed me home. I cleaned her up, giving her a shower and my wife fried 2 eggs for her before sending her home in the noon.
